ROGER WATSON, LMFT / Director

Roger Watson, a native of Hanford, California, has been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 2000. Roger earned a BA in Psychology from Judson College in Elgin, IL and an MA in counseling from the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, CA. As an associate pastor, Roger has over 25 years of experience with children, youth and family issues and he currently oversees Personal Growth Support Groups which provides a venue to meet a wide variety of life crisis issues.

In January 2003, Roger founded the Kings Counseling Center in Hanford, CA in order to provide relational and emotional healing for the greater Kings County area.

MEET THE STAFF
JEAN BROWN, LMFT

Jeanne came to counseling as a second career after being a teacher. She earned an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. She has worked for many years in community based mental health where it has been a privilege to work with adults, children, teenagers and their families with a wide range of needs. She has worked with people on issues such as adjustment to life changes, depression, anxiety, trauma, bi-polar disorder and serious mental illness. She works with people exploring for their needs of mind, spirit and body and builds on their strengths to bring healing and growth.​
JOYCE HANSEN, LMFT 

Joyce has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Chapman University as well as a Masters of Arts with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University. She feels very proud to be able to have earned both of her degrees from, as well as staying in the valley. 

Her clinical experience has been working with youth. Joyce is ready to serve teens, individuals, couples, and families. Her focus is to meet the client where they are at in their lives, to be empathetic, and to provide a non-judgmental environment. Joyce provides a safe stable environment while challenging client to help assist them along their journey of self- growth. 

Joyce specializes in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life changes, adjustments as well as being EMDR trained. Joyce is currently seeing clients face to face and via telehealth. 

BROOKLYN BROCKWAY, LMFT

Brooklyn is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Brooklyn has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Chapman University, as well as a Master of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. Brooklyn received her degree from Brandman University, now known as Global Mass University. Brooklyn was born and raised in Visalia, Ca and has resided there for 44 years.  

Brooklyn’s clinical experience began in the year of 2016. She has worked with children of all ages, ranging from five to eighteen. She specializes in Play therapy, which is generally utilized with younger children. She has also worked with many teenagers and young adults. She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Although Brooklyn is trained and has practiced multiple modes of therapy, she specializes in Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. She utilizes many techniques to teach individuals coping skills, including Mindfulness. Brooklyn is certified to teach Co-Parenting and has taught many classes. Brooklyn works with adults, couples, and families to help guide them to a more fulfilling lifestyle as well as providing coping skills. Brooklyn also specializes in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, negative thinking patterns and transitions in life with all ages.

Brooklyn takes great pride in her profession and strives to assist her clients in reaching their full potential in order to live a fulfilling life. Brooklyn provides a safe, non-judgmental, and relaxed environment for her clients.
